Nicki Minaj Personal Song "All Things Go" First Listen

The title track off The Pinkprint is here Barbz with Nicki getting super personal. Now, when you pre-order the album you get intro song “All Things Go” and during a Q&A with fans on Twitter yesterday, Nicki said that this song along with “Grand Piano” is one of the most emotional songs on The Pinkprint.

In the first verse, Nicki opens up about her aspiration to one day become a mother saying - “Life is a movie, but there will never be a sequel/ And I’m good with that, as long as I’m peaceful/ As long as 7 years from now, I’m taking my daughter to preschool.” Nicki expands on this desire further in a later verse where she heartbreakingly implies that she lost a child in the past, which if you remember she also touched upon the sensitive subject in “Autobiography.” In “All Things Go” Nicki raps – “My child with Aaron, would’ve have been sixteen.”

Nicki goes on to reference a past marriage proposal and to make things even more personal, Nicki raps about her cousin who was murdered a few years ago saying - “I pop a pill and remember the look in his eyes, the last day he saw me.” Yeah pretty heavy stuff.
Nicki then mentions her brother Macaiah and the fact that she really wants him to go to college.
This is huge from Nicki, especially because she is usually really private about her personal life- I mean she never EVER confirmed her and Safaree were ever together! The Pinkprint countdown continues- just 12 days away dropping on the 15th. And judging from what we’ve heard so far we will be getting a lot more of Nicki’s vulnerable side.

So what do you guys think of “All Things Go?” Props to Nicki for being brave enough to be so vulnerable.
