Nicki Minaj describes her aborted baby as angel looking over her brother

Hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj revealed that she had an abortion 16 years ago in a new song released today.
In the song, “All Things Go,” she describes her aborted baby as an angel who watches over Minaj's brother, Micaiah, who just turned 16 this year.
    The song states:
My child with Aaron would have been 16, any minute
So in some ways I feel like Caiah is the both of them
It's like he's Caiah's little angel, looking over him.
The claustrophobically personal new song is the lead track from her forthcoming CD The Pinkprint, which comes out on December 15.
Minaj, whose neon hair and revealing outfits send a distinct message to her fans, recently hit a countercultural note by saying she believes strongly in her mother's teachings that it is important to be married before having a child.

“I’d rather not do anything that’s going to be on paper, but I definitely will be married before I have my baby,” she said. “I want to make sure I do it in that order. I’ve always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head.”

She forecast that marriage and children will be part of a very happy future for her. “By the fifth album, I will have walked down the aisle, and I will at least be on baby number one, possibly baby number two,” she said. “And have $500 million.”

Nicki Minaj Personal Song "All Things Go" First Listen

The title track off The Pinkprint is here Barbz with Nicki getting super personal. Now, when you pre-order the album you get intro song “All Things Go” and during a Q&A with fans on Twitter yesterday, Nicki said that this song along with “Grand Piano” is one of the most emotional songs on The Pinkprint.

In the first verse, Nicki opens up about her aspiration to one day become a mother saying - “Life is a movie, but there will never be a sequel/ And I’m good with that, as long as I’m peaceful/ As long as 7 years from now, I’m taking my daughter to preschool.” Nicki expands on this desire further in a later verse where she heartbreakingly implies that she lost a child in the past, which if you remember she also touched upon the sensitive subject in “Autobiography.” In “All Things Go” Nicki raps – “My child with Aaron, would’ve have been sixteen.”

Nicki goes on to reference a past marriage proposal and to make things even more personal, Nicki raps about her cousin who was murdered a few years ago saying - “I pop a pill and remember the look in his eyes, the last day he saw me.” Yeah pretty heavy stuff.
Nicki then mentions her brother Macaiah and the fact that she really wants him to go to college.
This is huge from Nicki, especially because she is usually really private about her personal life- I mean she never EVER confirmed her and Safaree were ever together! The Pinkprint countdown continues- just 12 days away dropping on the 15th. And judging from what we’ve heard so far we will be getting a lot more of Nicki’s vulnerable side.

So what do you guys think of “All Things Go?” Props to Nicki for being brave enough to be so vulnerable.
